As the famous English saying goes, "you should never start the day on an empty stomach!" In fact, few people nowadays have the time to enjoy a proper "full English", but if there's time, there's no better way to set you up for the day.

The Rose's all Organic "Traditional English"                                                 £9.75

Our all-organic traditional breakfast comprises one fried egg, two rashers of bacon, two sausages, a grilled tomato, fried mushrooms, and hot toast with butter and jam or marmalade. It is served with a pot of regular tea, or a cup of coffee.

The Rose's all Organic "Light" Traditional Breakfast                                   £5.85

If you are looking for a lighter alternative but still want a great tasting start to the day, then this one's for you. The "Light" comprises: a fried egg, a rasher of bacon, a sausage, toast butter and jam. If addition there is a pot of regular tea, or a cup of coffee.

All Organic Scrambled Eggs                                                                              £6.50

Three eggs mixed with chives and scrambled to order. Served with hot toast, butter and jam and a pot of regular tea of a cup of coffee. For an additional charge of £2.75, why not add slivers of Scotland's finest smoked organic salmon?

The Rose's Continental Breakfast                                                                     £5.50

A home-baked breakfast roll and a warm croissant, slices of Havarti cheese, butter and jam. Again you have the choice between a pot of regular tea and a cup of coffee. As Havarti had a delicate fresh flavour devoid of any hints of mature tiredness, it is a great cheese for a light breakfast.

The Rose's "French" Breakfast                                                                        £3.50

An all butter croissant served with butter and the fruitiest jam. This typically French affair comes with either a cup of coffee or a pot of regular tea.



In addition, we have an extensive selection of breakfast teas, coffees, chocolate, freshly squeezed orange juice and additional breakfast items.

In creating the perfect "Full English", the ingredients must be cooked separately so that the distinct flavours of the different components do not become muddled during cooking. At The Rose, that's exactly what we do.

If the cooking is important, so is the choice of ingredients. We wouldn't be doing your breakfast justice without taking special care in their selection. From the deliciously smoked organically reared bacon, to the organically grown tomatoes, you can be certain that every part of your breakfast is made using top quality ingredients.

Because your meal is cooked to order, we can't have it on your table straight away. It does mean however, that if you fancy a little something extra, all you have to do is ask!
