Regular Teas


Black Tea – Fully Fermented Tea

House Tea.
A blend of Ceylon, Assam and African teas. Ceylon for flavour, Assam for strength, African for colour.
Milk: Yes       Fusion time: 3 min.

Assam (India).
Mild and nutty aroma combined with assertive strength and malty character.
Milk: Yes       Fusion time: 3-4 min.

Ceylon (Sri Lanka).
Orange Pekoe. Coppery liquor with bright and fresh flavour.
Milk: Yes/No       Fusion time: 3-4 min.

Darjeeling (Himalaya).
Broken Orange Pekoe. Characteristic muscatel flavour, pronounced aroma. The “champagne” of teas. Light colour.
Milk: No       Fusion time: 3-4 min.

Keemun (China, Anhui province).
Tight hand rolled leaves, lightly scented, delicate aroma, very clean tasting, a good digestif.
Milk: No       Fusion time: 5-7 min.

Earl Grey.
Keemun with Bergamot oil. Beautifully scented with the best Bergamot oil available.
Milk: No       Fusion time: 5-7 min.

Lapsang Souchong (China, Fujian province).
Leaves dried over smoking pine fire, resulting in a smoky almost tarry flavour. Rich red colour.
Milk: Yes/No       Fusion time: 5-7 min.

Vanilla Tea, (China, Yunnan province).
Black leaves with golden buds giving a slightly peppery brisk liquor scented with genuine vanilla.
Milk: Yes/No       Fusion time: 5-7 min.


Oolong Tea – Partly Fermented Tea

Oolong (Formosa - Taiwan).
Amber colour, a touch of bitterness combined with ripe peaches. Delicate, low in caffeine.
Milk: No       Fusion time: 7 min.


Green Tea – Unfermented Tea

Chun Mee (China, Zhajiang province).
Known as eyebrow tea due to the shape of the beautifully rolled jade coloured leaves. Next to no caffeine. Pale yellow liquor. Smooth taste.
Milk: No       Fusion time: 3-4 min.

Phoenix Pearl Dragon (China).
Jasmine bud + two outer leaves rolled into a “pearl”. Drink as green tea. Exquisite.

Makaibari Tea Estate Tea (Darjeeling).
Second flush organic estate tea, with the best characteristics of Darjeeling teas. Outstanding flavour.
